The true spirit of Mexico and
Spain, raved about by New York Cityers for over 30 years. The Tio Pepe
Mexican Restaurant in New York City was voted the best margarita in town, and
their Paella Festival is wonderful ($13). Their Paella Valenciana is
amazing, to die for. They feature great tapas, and their skylight
garden is beautiful (very romantic). Reasonably priced (dinner with
drinks and coffee for $20), the bar has TVs, and even people from Spain
think it's authentic! Friendly waitstaff, and the octopus is highly
recommened. Guacamole made right at your table! Packed on
weekends, it can handle large groups, the sangria is amazing. The
back garden is great for private parties. Everyone loves this party
place!

Relaxed and stylish, with a friendly and mellow waitstaff, the Agave
Mexican Restaurant of New York City is wonderful. Freee corn chips with
dip. The walls are adobe and the ceilings are branches. The
candles make the restaurant very romantic. The food is Southwestern
with some changes - favorites are quesadillas, guacamole, red snapper
service, and Angus short ribs. The skirt steak is amazing, as is the
creme brule and pecan-suffed appples. Amzaing burnch. The bar
is wonderful, with dozens of cocktails (both tequila and cocktails).
One of our favorite Mexican restaurants in New York City.
