Possibly the best sushi in Manhattan Nobu Restaurant in New York City There's a very good chance you'll see a celebrity at the Nobu Restaurant in New York City. That's because it's part of the Robert De Niro restaurant network, and they really know how to treat celebs. The food is amazing - not just the sushi (many consider it to be the best sushi in New York), but the rest of the Japanese food is wonderful, too. The edamame is a great appetizer, and the caviar on top of tuna (toro tartar) is amazing. Try the little oyster tacos, too. The yellowtail sashimi is great (with jalepeno and cilantro), and the the Nobu Restaurant in New York City is best known for its black cod with miso. My favorite, dish, however, is the squid "pasta" (the pasta is actually asparagus). They are known for their wonderful services, too. Reservations Reservations required, and are accepted only
up a month in advance. Unfortunately, if you try less than a month in
advance, you probably won't get in, so make multiple calls if you have
to. Note that you can try for day of cancellation
reservations. Your best bet is to book a month ahead (or go at
lunchtime). In the Tribeca restaurant and didn't get
reservations? Go to the slower Next Door Nobu right next to Nobu. |
